"AT" Series Shifting Linear Actuator Web Guide

Re USA Shifting Linear Actuator Web Guide AT Series

“AT” linear actuator web guides align the web by moving the unwind or rewind station laterally to keep the web moving along the desired path. The movement is direct by a controller which receives signals from sensors that monitor the material edge, a printed line, pattern, or contrast.

During unwinding, the linear actuator web guide moves the unwinder station to align the web from the start of the process. During rewinding, the actuator adjusts the rewinder to track the incoming web position, ensuring a smooth and consistent roll profile.

“AT” linear web guide actuators are equipped with stepper motors to offer high reliability, long durability, and precise operation. They are available in axial or geared motor versions to suit  various applications, load and stand sizes, and required thrust forces. Electronic reed limit switches are integrated in the actuator shaft grooves, allowing quick adjustments to the actuator stroke.

AT” linear actuators (shifting actuators) are available in various models with strokes ranging from +/- 1 inch (25 mm) to +/- 3.94 inches (100 mm), speeds up to 1.77 inches (45 mm) per second, and thrust forces up to 2,250 lbs-force (10,000 N) to meet a variety of application requirements.

In a complete web guiding system, the AT linear actuator / shifting actuator can be controlled via ReSmart technology with MWG.22 or MWG.10.1 web guide controllers, or with SmartMotion technology and the WLigo display, and can operate with all Re sensors and associated manual or motorized sensor holders.
