"WG" Series Offset Pivot Web Guide

Re USA WG Series Offset Pivot Web Guide

WG pivot frame web guides (offset pivot guides) use a moveable upper frame with rollers, mounted on a fixed base frame, to adjust the web position. Edge or line sensors monitor the alignment and inform the controller in real time when adjustments are necessary. The controller signals the web guide to move on its pivot point to maintain the desired web position.

Typically positioned close to key processes, these web guides optimize material management and ensure a smooth workflow. Each model is engineered for seamless integration with the machines on which they are installed, and they come in various sizes (including roller length and web path options). The systems offer material tension ranging from 22 lbs-force to 560 lbs-force, with correcting speeds up to 1.34 inches per second. All models are durable and reliable.

Smaller, compact models like WG.100, WG.251, and WG.255 are typically used in applications with narrow web widths, such as the hygiene industry. The WG.705 model is designed for medium-sized web applications, ideal for the labeling and packaging industries. The WG.2000, the largest model in the series, is used for rotogravure machines, flexographic presses, or in applications where the web material exceeds 32″ in width.

A special version, the WG.251-SKB, integrates the keyboard directly on the frame and offers a high degree of protection (IP54), making it suitable for dusty or liquid-prone environments.

Models WG.251, WG.255, and WG.705 can be equipped with an integrated user interface within the frame, improving system management and simplifying web guide control and adjustment.

WG offset pivot web guide systems can be managed with ReSmart technology and MWG22 or MWG10.1 control units, or with SmartMotion technology and the WLigo display. All Re web guiding systems can be used with various Re sensors, as well as manual or motorized sensor holders. These systems enable fast, precise, and reliable correction of web position during the production process.

WG web guiding systems can also be customized with numerous optional accessories such as cutting tables, adhesive tape holders, and special roller coatings to perfectly fit the specific needs of any web process.
