Extreme "XT" Pneumatic Roll Stand Brakes
The Extreme brake is a single-disc industrial pneumatic roll stand brake engineered to maximize brake pad life. Pads can last up to seven years in moderate applications.
It offers a sleek design with compact dimensions, delivering maximum reliability in all operating conditions. Its fast and uniform response time ensures stable, linear and constant torque.
Every component, from the self-ventilated disc (rotor) to the pad compound to the geometry of the housing, has been carefully studied to optimize overall performance.
Extreme brakes are available in two sizes. The XT.10 is ideal when high braking torque is needed (on corrugators, for example). The smaller XT.7 is designed for narrow web applications, where torque stability and low residual torque are needed. For both models, installation is quick and easy, both on new machines and when retrofitting older machines.
