Reverse Turning Web Guiding System
The reverse turning web guide is a complex system designed for double-sided processing of a running web. It allows the web to be flipped as it is running in order to print or carry out other processes on both sides of the material.
When used with the MWG10.1 control unit and sensors, the system can be used for precise alignment of the web even when the web material is being turned. The 45° diagonal bars of the system are chrome-plated and micro-perforated to generate a cushion of air between the material and the roller. This cushion is necessary for turning the web without any damage of the web surface caused by contact with the roller.
The WG reverse turning web guide is available in two versions: the Reverse 180 installed on linear applications, such as flexographic or rotogravure machine; and the Reverse 90 installed on machines with rewinder perpendicular to the unwinding station.
